Roller-ski JOVE

Roller-skis are training instruments for cross-country skiers in preliminary and high season – it is from May to November in domestic conditions.

Disadvantage of products known till this time is necessity of using high-quality asphalt or concrete of road surfaces for its operation. This skis ordinarly have full wheels made of polyuretane in a size of 7 - 12 cm in diameter. The harder wheels are, the lower resistance is put up and the higher speed is reached. However uneven road surface – the surface of poor quality brings about great concussions and vibrations prohibiting ski running of high-quality.

All of it are problems not only:
1. for a ski runner – permanent pain in shins and big danger of periosteitis leading as far as to fatigue fracture
2. for a coach – find out a suitable track – in the Czech Republic there is a minimum quantity of tracks for roller-ski trainings and the road surface is usually of poor quality.

Resolution:

Roller-ski JOVE solve the both problems. Roller-ski-running does not bring about concussions. Compared to existing models vibrations are limited to minimum even by running on tracks with a poor-quality surface – which are all the training tracks for roller-ski in the Czech Republic on the present. These tracks are for the other roller-ski unusable whereas on roller-ski JOVE you can train without any problem. They have actually inflatable wheels. There are under offer also racing ski of kevlar fiber and ski with dragging brake for skiing in broken terrain.
